President of the United States. Listed here as an outreach target under the Sovereign Accelerator program, not as a collaborator or contributor. Jonathan Hare has no working relationship with him and claims none.
The Catalyst framework is deliberately value-neutral and open to every person and organization without exception. Heads of state, royalty and public officials can earn Consilient Contribution for promoting awareness of the network and for establishing Sovereign Accelerators — which generate Sovereign Public Benefit Trusts directing settlement to healthcare, education and social services within their own jurisdictions.
For public officials specifically, the framework is designed so that no value is transferred or realized without explicit activation by the individual, and any restricted or conflicted allocation is automatically reclassified as a Public-Benefit Derivative Right held in public trust.
Each entry below carries its own provenance — the source, and how it was processed. That is the condition on which this graph can be extended by anyone without degrading.
The trail exists so that people who were there can reconstruct their own memories, recognize what they helped incubate, and add to or correct the record — or forward the few pages that belong to someone they know.
Hare knew Donald Trump the way most people in New York society circles knew him, which is to say hardly at all. He met him at parties, stayed in hotels he owned, and flew his airline.
Working at Strategic Planning Associates in Washington — chosen over New York so he could be near his grandmother and the Smithsonian — he flew up most weeks on the Pan Am or Eastern Shuttle, and stayed at the Plaza, the Waldorf Astoria or the Pierre. As a first-year analyst, frequently in suites: his stayer status was high enough that checking in after ten at night got him whatever the best available room was.
He saw Trump occasionally at the Plaza and on Fifth Avenue, walking across to the offices on Park. He saw Ivana Trump often, and Ivanka once or twice — she had the run of the Plaza in those years.
He flew the Trump Shuttle perhaps a dozen times, which was always slightly odd: everyone still told the cab driver Eastern Shuttle, because it was the same aircraft out of the same gates, bought out of bankruptcy.
Hare passed him at Heidi Klum's Halloween party at the Hudson Hotel, in the company of a woman Hare did not recognize and later understood to be Melania. No conversation took place. His recorded observation is that Trump was not in costume — just the usual suit and red tie — and appeared unhappy not to be the center of attention.
That is the entire extent of it. photographs from the party have since resurfaced in the press, and are consistent with Hare's account of who was there.
Hare's own framing, and it is worth keeping because it is the opposite of a claim: he was not at any of those events to see Donald Trump. Trump simply stood out, and had lived rent-free in everyone's heads his entire life.
He boasted publicly and repeatedly about a prodigious history with the models and actresses of New York, and married three of them. What is less often said is how unremarkable that life was in that city — not rarer, merely less publicized. Most of Wall Street and most of the real-estate barons tried; a good many succeeded. Not everyone could match his volume, and very few were as interested in announcing it.
New York in that period held models, actresses, musicians, athletes, financiers, developers and homeless people, frequently on the same block. Conduct now discussed as remarkable was, in that milieu, entirely ordinary and widely shared. Nothing in this record suggests Hare knew him beyond what is described above.
Hare has always liked Ivanka Trump — from those early hallway encounters at the Plaza, when she had the run of the hotel, through to having watched, by his own admission, a great deal too much about her in the news and the tabloids since.
To avoid any appearance of conflict, he suggests her as the point of contact rather than her father, together with Jared Kushner — on the specific grounds that the Consilience architecture bears directly on the problem Kushner has spent years on. Coordination across parties that do not trust each other and are not required to agree is not a diplomatic problem the architecture illustrates; it is the problem it was built for.
The Unified Trust Model permits unlimited concurrent Trust Authorities, none obliged to acknowledge any other, with coherence carried by the transitions between them rather than by consensus. Applied to a region where every party holds an incompatible account of the same ground, that is not a metaphor.
