The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.
Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.
Session 4: EP3 Lokahi - Sustainable Markets Accelerator (Dec 15, 2025)
Context: Discussions with Marcelo de Andrade regarding the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) and Brazilian Agritech.
MARCELO DE ANDRADE (MdA): We are applying the shared value platform to sustain biomes at scale. The Minister of Agriculture demanded we help decarbonize the Brazilian agribusiness economy. We started with coffee—300,000 producers. We brought in Rabobank, using net present value to subsidize crop parametric insurance. I am also on the steering committee of the TFFF (Tropical Forest Forever Facility) with the World Bank. It's a $125 billion facility. If you misuse the money or deforest, the punishment is very high. This is blended finance. The IFC (International Finance Corporation) is involved. JONATHAN HARE: Whatever they have, we can link it. Our stuff will make it far more efficient. Data is just one resource. The right to rely on a contract, the right to use the output of an algorithm—those are all resources. We create a universal market. You have to have trustworthy data about the resource you're making a market in. If you can't measure all the context, how do you know what it really costs the environment? We connect all that data. The guy driving the truck, he wants education for his kids and healthcare. What if we just give them that? You know what it costs to make healthcare intelligence available to people in the Amazon? Freaking nothing. We can make those trades. If we cross-fertilize these domains—healthcare, sustainability—it helps our story.
Corrections applied downstream are recorded here rather than made silently. The source above is unaltered.
The strategy session formerly held at Stage 2 as a campaign map, published whole under the unsealing ruling: the sequencing it contains — Wallenberg, Databricks, Hedera — is now the record's open courtship, per the author's doctrine that broadcast validates. The Brazil and sustainability references are clarified by S-138 as the public initiatives of the Sustainable Markets Initiative and the COP conversations: not negotiations — the network is offered to everyone. v72: wired to marcelo-de-andrade (node created on the S-177 ruling); this session is his account in his own words.
Each page below is a distillation of the account above. The chain is recorded in both directions so that a reader, a journalist or a future system can walk from a claim back to what was actually said.
A source record can be wrong about the world even when it accurately preserves what was said. Corrections are recorded alongside rather than replacing it — nothing here is overwritten.
Write to evidence@qpncatalyst.io and Jonathan directly — both are on the button — or use the structured contribution form. A timestamped confirmation comes back with your submission attached, as your own independent record.
