King Charles III's Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), launched while he was Prince of Wales, and the home of the Terra Carta and the Astra Carta. It enters this record through Marcelo de Andrade, its Chairman for Latin America, who introduced Jonathan Hare to it (S-179). Hare's description of it to Jeff Weiss in December 2025 (S-141): regional chairmen, working groups by sector, a passionate believer in sustainability behind it — and the observation that these initiatives all happen elsewhere, which is the gap the architecture exists to close.

No meeting with the King is claimed; the introduction was to the Initiative.
