I would happily name them, I can picture them like it was yesterday. I'm going to reach out first, and ask their permission. The Christy page will give them a reason to add an entry - they can identify themselves if they like. One was Swedish, lived on the upper East side not far from the plaza hotel. The other was a black woman, who was like a consultant to celebrities - teaching them how to be stylish, to dress well, and be cool. She was amazingly cool, and she did her best with me, to make me blend in to the scene. She used to help me shop. I had a lot of help being cool - also from door men at the top clubs. They would let me in, but literally adjusted my clothes, made me hide my electronic devices, etc You can't look like a nerd when you're watching a private performance of the famous hip hop stars.
