The vignettes arrived in publishable first-person register and are published as episodes with Hare's prose essentially intact. Provenance grades: family/recorded throughout for the family material; recorded for the business history. Conflicts logged rather than resolved, per convention: (1) Harold Hare's birth — the outline says ~1980; the narrative says he was born shortly after the family left Synanon in ~1983/84; both preserved, ruling requested. (2) Doug Merritt's purchase at The Cats — 'during his SAP or Cisco days,' the uncertainty Hare's own. (3) June Whitson is specified in this package as Hare's step-grandmother — the record previously carried her without the step- distinction; corrected by extension, not overwrite. Verification notes: the Cristoforo Colombo was indeed the Andrea Doria's sister ship; Elvis Presley's Ray Barracks posting at Friedberg (October 1958–March 1960) matches the public record; Mensur academic fencing is the real Heidelberg tradition; the Point Reyes Light's Pulitzer for the Synanon investigation and the 1978 rattlesnake attack on attorney Paul Morantz are documented history (the package's '~1983/84 departure coinciding' is Hare's family chronology, not a claim about the snake's date); Ken Rudin's PL/SQL attribution is Hare's account of Rudin's Oracle role, published as his account. The Ceridian episode's profanity is Hare's own reported speech and stays. The Cornerstone case is told without naming the defendant, as Hare told it; the record follows him. Aaron Alter's professional conduct is Hare's account of a professional disagreement, published with the record's standing invitation for his side; the account's own framing — a fast-track Harvard associate applying big-company judgment to a cowboy startup — is criticism of fit, not of competence, and the page holds it that way.
