The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.
Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.
Below is the contact entry for Laura Rodkin, who I met through Pam Alexander's friend Jason Weinberg, who represented a bunch of stars, including Pam' friend Courtney Love. (I know they were friends, because Courtney used to call Pam quite regularly when I was hanging out with her or traveling with her - usually asking for advice on where to buy houses, or how to get out of a PR jam. Pam said that when Courtney wasn't strung out on drugs, she was very nice and extremely talented - Curt Cobain's suicide hit her really hard, apparently. Hard to record from something like that.
Anyway, Laura Rodkin introduced me to Ghislane Maxwell, since I was telling her about the Santa Fe Institute, and Laura said I should meet Ghislane, because she spent a lot of time there. Laura and I became good friends (initially because Laura knew Christy Turlington, and I spent several years chasing Christy - who was my dream girl, given she was into Buddhism and was getting a Masters in Philosophy or Eastern Religions or something like that). Laura and I had dinner in SF a few months later - she stayed at the Sherman Hotel, which is a tiny boutique 5-star hotel about a block and a half from my house at 3040 Steiner, where all sorts of celebrities and rich people stayed - they had private entrences where people could sneak in and out. This was Bill Gate's primary place to stay in SF back in those days, or so she told me.
Lauara had many clients - she managed Brad Pitt for a time, and also Robert Downey Junior in his early years. This was well before his Iron Man days. She told me he was amazing and extremely talented, but she ultimately had to drop him as a client "because I got tired of lying about his drug problems every time he got arrested."
[One paragraph held back pending Hare's confirmation — it recounts a third party's conversation told to Hare in confidence at the time. See notes.]
Corrections applied downstream are recorded here rather than made silently. The source above is unaltered.
Corrections this dictation makes to the existing record, published rather than applied silently: (1) S-053's notes speculated that Jason Weinberg was the unnamed 'entertainment agent' of S-010 who made the Maxwell introduction. That speculation was wrong. Per this dictation the proximate introducer was Rodkin — Hare was telling her about the Santa Fe Institute and she said he should meet Maxwell, who spent a lot of time there. The chain: Pam Alexander → her friend Jason Weinberg → Rodkin → Maxwell. (2) The held-back paragraph concerns a confidential conversation reported secondhand; Hare's dictation ended 'I suppose it's okay to reveal now', which is a hedge, not a decision, and the paragraph stays out of the published record until he makes one. The disfluencies elsewhere are preserved as always: Pam', Curt Cobain, Ghislane, Lauara, entrences, Gate's. Reconciliation, 24 August 2026: a later record entered under this same number — the Moby concert, Turlington, and Madonna dictation — now carries S-103.
Each page below is a distillation of the account above. The chain is recorded in both directions so that a reader, a journalist or a future system can walk from a claim back to what was actually said.
A source record can be wrong about the world even when it accurately preserves what was said. Corrections are recorded alongside rather than replacing it — nothing here is overwritten.
Write to evidence@qpncatalyst.io and Jonathan directly — both are on the button — or use the structured contribution form. A timestamped confirmation comes back with your submission attached, as your own independent record.
