Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Berkeley, and one of Jonathan Hare's two primary advisors. Worked on optimization and, with Stuart Dreyfus, on the mathematics that underlies neural networks.
Per S-188: Glassey and other IEOR professors had some of the very first NeXT machines — Berkeley, Stanford and Carnegie Mellon being, in Hare's account, the three university partners that helped launch NeXT.
