The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.
Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.
Can you review the first attachment, which is the responses from a Google AI / gemini prompts about the relationship of Feature Vectors (which I used extensively in simulation and modeling beginning in my days at UC Berkeley, doing matrix transformations and linear algebra with APL and other high-level modellng languages, and later in studying neural nets based on back-propogation based on Geoffrey Hinton's seminal paper in the late 1980s. Then, compare that against the attached documents, including a zip file with the source for consilient.network, and the documents in the project folder, and write an explainer that shows how my thinking resulted in the mathematical and scientific foundation for Quantum Adaptive Systems Theory, the QPN, Quantum Privacy, UTM, Quantum Genome, and in turn how it aligns with the latest research in AI.
Corrections applied downstream are recorded here rather than made silently. The source above is unaltered.
Primary biographical assertions carried by this record: (1) extensive use of feature vectors in simulation and modelling at UC Berkeley; (2) matrix transformations and linear algebra in APL and other high-level modelling languages; (3) study of back-propagation neural networks from Geoffrey Hinton's paper in the late 1980s. Item (3) corroborates and is corroborated by the existing Stuart Dreyfus vignette (Dreyfus and Glassey handing over the Hinton paper; the NeXT machine). Grade: recorded — Hare's account. Spellings 'modellng' and 'back-propogation' preserved as typed.
Each page below is a distillation of the account above. The chain is recorded in both directions so that a reader, a journalist or a future system can walk from a claim back to what was actually said.
