Zoom session — Rich Muth & Jonathan: the MCP Server Test (June 8, 2026)

The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.

Recorded 2026-08-27From the corrected Zoom transcript archive (Archival Source Record v6, Parts XVIII–XIX), the archive's corrected session record, verbatim. Recorded and transcribed via Zoom with the recording-and-transcription notice displayed and participation captured as informed consent (S-129). The archive notes its transcripts are post-processed to remove transcription artifacts while preserving meaning. All sources
Provenance

Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.

Session 3: Rich Muth & Jonathan - MCP Server Test (June 8, 2026)

Context: Validating the QPN architecture using Claude Desktop via an MCP server integration.

RICH MUTH: I showed Olchi the QPN Catalyst video I created a long time ago. She totally loved that. I created a script, edited it, and the AI created the video, the slide deck, and the voiceover. I've got a make command to regenerate it anytime. JONATHAN HARE: Oh, there it is on the screen. 'Architecting structured credit response with disciplined citation.' So it's doing something real. RICH MUTH: Yeah, it's for sure doing something real. The MCP server pulls from the index, does embedding, takes the query, converts it into embeddings, finds things which are relevant, applies labels, does work with authorities, and comes back with results. Inside the Claude Desktop project, that skill is being applied. We're paying almost nothing. JONATHAN HARE: That's consilience. If you're able to accurately pull a question, answer it, and not hallucinate, you're doing good. By the way, I have a new title. It's Chief Negotiator and Lord Protector of the Consilient Realm, because I'm a direct descendant of Oliver Cromwell. I asked you and Marc Singer, 'Do you want politics to make decisions?' Who else is going to make decisions while we embody this? It's worth so much that people will start fighting. You need to have some control initially to negotiate the contracts before settlement goes live.

Editorial record

Session metadata: June 8, 2026 · participants Rich Muth (CTO) and Jonathan Hare · an internal working session validating the QPN architecture through a live MCP-server integration with Claude Desktop. Summary, from the text: Muth demonstrates the retrieval pipeline — index, embeddings, relevance, labels, authorities — running inside a Claude Desktop project at near-zero cost, with the AI-generated Catalyst video regenerable by a single make command; Hare's verdict gives the record one of its cleanest one-line definitions: consilience is when you can pull a question, answer it accurately, and not hallucinate. Follow-ups from the text: the video pipeline stands ready for the outreach library. One lore-grade item handled per the family-lore convention: Hare's announced title — Chief Negotiator and Lord Protector of the Consilient Realm, on the Cromwell descent — is recorded as stated, with the descent itself carrying the ledger's lore grade, and the serious point beneath it preserved: someone must hold negotiating authority before settlement goes live, and the record prefers that stated openly. Lineage note, added 30 August 2026: per S-146 the Cromwell descent runs to Sir Oliver Cromwell, the Royalist uncle of the Lord Protector — family grade on the four lineage books — so the announced title stands on a corrected and upgraded line.
