The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.
Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.
There are four books. When I drafted the original entries, I forgot Grandma Stansberry (my grandma Joy's mother) who I knew very well - she lived to age 99 or so, and I visited her and her daughter Grandma Joy up in Willows dozens of times. The Stansberry family has a published family history book that details their lineage back to Charlegmagne and the Holy Roman Empire, which is the source of the familiar connections to the House of Windsor, Prince of Baden, and Von Bismarck, and also Prince William of Orange the Silent.
Corrections applied downstream are recorded here rather than made silently. The source above is unaltered.
Correction, published rather than silently applied: the episode and the family-ledger page previously counted three interlocking lineage books — Hare, Whitson, Wickwire. This ruling establishes four: the Stansberry family's published history is the fourth volume, tracing the line to Charlemagne and the Holy Roman Empire, and it is the volume through which the familial connections to the House of Windsor, the Prince of Baden, the von Bismarcks, and Prince William of Orange the Silent run. The author notes the irony himself: the volume he forgot belongs to the matriarch he knew best. Display copy corrects 'Charlegmagne' to Charlemagne and reads 'familiar connections' as familial; the source is verbatim. Grandma Stansberry's first name remains an open request on Joy Avalon Stansberry's page, now joined by a request for sight of the Stansberry volume itself — the Windsor/Baden/Bismarck/Orange connections attach at family grade pending it. The Consilient Record Update v2 document that surfaced the discrepancy remains held for separate rulings and is not yet a source record.
Each page below is a distillation of the account above. The chain is recorded in both directions so that a reader, a journalist or a future system can walk from a claim back to what was actually said.
