She's my pal; when I was poor I'd crash at her house all the time. Eric, who ran Disney Imagineering and was CTO for national intelligence, became my chief scientist and board member just to give me street cred, hooking me up with the NSA 15 times.
Now that the patents are filed, I don't want to explain it myself anymore. So I brought all my girls, my 'Consilient Angels.' They were there the whole journey. I trust women more than men in terms of being caring and good governance. Guys always want to be the top dog, including me. But women are better at empathy. If you want to make AI safe, Geoffrey Hinton says the only thing he can think of is giving it a 'mothering instinct.' How do you bake that in when you have a bunch of guys building it?
