He first met her when she was a partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, and later worked with her 'quite a lot' in her GE years — GE health and then Healthymagination — and hung out with her at the Aspen Institute and the usual tech and healthcare conferences: definitely David Brailer's Health Evolution Summit, probably Kara Swisher's All Things Digital, both as he hedges them. Her tech innovation center sat right on Sand Hill Road, very close to Kleiner Perkins' offices — he thinks the same complex as Altos Ventures; 'well funded but second tier offices,' in his words, published as his words.
