Mike Leff has championed this work since 2013 — from Accenture partner to AT&T's consulting sales chief

Met through Richard Spires and the intelligence-community champions; the AT&T NetBond thread runs through him

Person

Who this is

Mike Leff has been a champion since 2013, when he was a partner at Accenture and met Jonathan Hare through Richard Spires — then DHS CIO — and Hare's friends across the DNI, NSA and CIA. By the 2024 record he was AT&T's VP of Integrated Solutions and Consulting, running sales for the Global 1000 and public sector across cybersecurity, SD-WAN, IoT and digital transformation — a seat from which, as Hare's contemporaneous account notes, he could engage any Fortune 1000 company directly, nearly all being customers of both AT&T and Verizon. The concrete thread: a joint go-to-market in which his consulting group supports Enterprise Privacy Network implementations for launch partners' customers — the crowd-sourced infrastructure model — provisioned over AT&T NetBond at near zero marginal cost. A decade-plus champion with the network's economics in his territory.

S-100 adds the account detail: at Accenture, Leff oversaw the immense HHS and SSA accounts before the move to AT&T — the compilation routing him through AT&T Defense — making him the record's critical junction between civilian health IT and defense infrastructure.
