Michael Stonebraker — founder of Ingres, inventor of Postgres, and of Illustra after it — is the root of the UC Berkeley database lineage from which most of the East Bay's hard-core database talent descended, Consilient's and Evolve's benches included. The record spells the systems correctly and preserves the dictation's spellings in the source, per the convention, and holds him as what he is in this graph: the ancestor node of the talent pool.
