The keynote speaker who reminded Hare of a dozen gurus from the ashram days
This is Jonathan Hare's account, with its provenance shown. The person or organization named has not yet claimed or corrected it.
He came up and sat with Jonathan Hare and Margaret Hamburg at the Aspen Health VIP bar; Hare did not recognize him — 'he reminded me of a dozen hindu buddhist gurus I knew from my Ashram days' — and only placed him on stage, giving the main keynote (S-192). That is the record's whole account of him, and it is kept because it is true to how the rooms actually work.
The public record, one line. The physician-author who carried Ayurvedic and mind-body practice to a Western mass audience across ninety-odd books — which is exactly why he read, at the bar, as one more of the gurus of Hare's childhood.
