Camilla Olson — a Swedish modeling agent living on the Upper East Side — was a central node of the New York social substrate that grew out of the Adam Dell friendship: she actively integrated Jonathan Hare into the high-society and entertainment orbits of the era, taking him to the Kabbalah Centre, where he met Madonna, amid a network of international models and creatives. She also introduced Adam Dell to Ulf Ekberg of Ace of Base, culminating in legendary New York nights with Hare, Dell, Ed Triestman and Billy Zane. The record keeps the chapter for the structural point it demonstrates: real influence frequently originates in personal, international social orbits rather than boardroom introductions — and the corridors, as ever, were owned by the people who chose who walked through.
