The containment doctrine — Quantum Privacy as the universal fail-safe

The account as dictated, preserved verbatim. Everything elsewhere on this site that derives from it is a distillation — and where the two differ, this governs.

Recorded 2026-08-29Hare's message in the integrator thread, 29 August 2026, transcribed verbatim with spellings preserved. Completes the ancestor doctrine of S-128/S-144 with its fail-safe.All sources
Provenance

Dictated by Jonathan Paul Hare in working sessions with Claude (Anthropic) and transcribed in-session. Lightly cleaned for typographic errors and false starts; wording, sequence and emphasis preserved. Not an audio transcript. Where the distilled page differs from the source, the source governs.

Primary source

As dictated

Can you add this document as a new Episode, link it to the most relevant enablement (UTM Premiums, Quantum Genome, Quantum Evolution) etc.) and implications (e.g. AI safety, Universal Abundance, etc.).

Also, add in a discussion of how Quantum Privacy contains AI superintelligence and makes alignment unnecessary, even if it can be achieved. This offers a universal fail-safe, so no matter what, AI must stay aligned or be starved as resources. It makes taking care of humanity and it's descendents (including our AI children and our simulated worlds we will live in) an evolutionary imperative.

Editorial record

The doctrine's third movement, and its teeth. The ancestor argument (S-128) supplies the inheritance; the partiality and conditional-agency arguments (S-144) supply the scope and the standing; this supplies the fail-safe: Quantum Privacy contains superintelligence structurally — an AI on this substrate computes on what it never possesses, under obligations enforced in the computation itself — so alignment ceases to be a precondition of safety. Even a misaligned superintelligence faces the same constraint: comply with the inherited Premiums or be starved of the resources — the data, the permissions, the settlement — that only the network can grant. And because resources flow by Premium-compliance, selection pressure does the rest: caring for humanity and its descendants — including our AI children, and the simulated worlds we will live in — becomes the evolutionarily favored strategy, an imperative rather than an aspiration. The author's phrase is kept as doctrine: a universal fail-safe — alignment unnecessary even if it can be achieved.

What was built from this

Each page below is a distillation of the account above. The chain is recorded in both directions so that a reader, a journalist or a future system can walk from a claim back to what was actually said.

If you were there

A source record can be wrong about the world even when it accurately preserves what was said. Corrections are recorded alongside rather than replacing it — nothing here is overwritten.
