This is an email to my friend John Clippinger in 2004 about Resilient - I believe Esther was already an investor at that point. The second attachment (Resilient Quotes) are from various people in government and financial services (we were focused on Sarbannes Oxley and broker dealer compliance as the initial application).

The correction is the headline and is published rather than silently applied: S-112 recorded the first Ozzie meeting in the Lotus Notes / Improv era by a possible Kapor introduction, hedged 'if I recall'; this message supersedes it — the meeting was in the Groove Networks era, first at the Massachusetts offices, then at the O'Reilly P2P conference in February 2001, where both men were on the program. The hedge did its job. Jasmine Stirling enters the record in the author's own register. The 2004 confirmations were run as requested: the Merritt thread (S-116) documents the Stephenson meeting at PC Forum 2004; corpus and prior-session search confirm the Ressi/Mars story was never previously merged — not a pipeline drop, new material. The Clippinger email (S-117) and the quotes document (S-118) substantially enrich the original-Resilient chapter pending the entity split. Esther Dyson's investor status as of March 2004 is the author's belief, recorded as such.
