Per S-114, in Jonathan Hare's words: he was sort of dating her at the time — snuggle buddies, while she came through the worst breakup of all time — and also working with her, through the online design company she ran. The record keeps his framing exactly, because the Circle was ruled first-class for precisely this register: the personal life as it was, honestly told, at recorded grade.
