Everyone an owner — every form of capital recognized and rewarded in one framework that aligns incentives toward cooperation.
This topic carries part of the argument of the Consilient Manifesto — the universal call to action. ← Back to the call
The six Universals are mutually dependent — Access without Ownership produces a platform; Ownership without Compliance produces an unregulatable one; Compliance without Liquidity produces a system that is lawful and unusable. It is the composition that produces the result.
What the composition produces first is Universal Capitalism: an economy anchored not solely in financial capital but recognizing human, knowledge, social, relational, financial and nature-based capital in a single framework. Everyone is an owner; each person and organization acts simultaneously as customer, supplier and distributor through interoperable Exchange Networks and shared Resource Pools — and the two-century argument between capitalism and socialism dissolves at the premise both share, the fixed pie.
The thesis is older than the corpus: a 2007 Henry Crown nomination independently documents Hare thinking about how technology can harness self-interested capitalism to serve society, the environment and the poorest of the poor — Universal Capitalism, twenty years early.
One graph, four projections — the story where this was learned, the invention that delivers it, the vision claim it serves, and what it becomes in the Era of Abundance.
