Margaret Jonathan Hare, a member of the Hare family tree, worked directly with Ellen G. White, the pioneering co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist movement — placing the family at the foundation of the tradition that later kept its books, sent out its missionary doctors, and made Milton a deacon twice over.
