Read the unpublished Adaptive Systems Analysis, recognized Wilson's argument in it, bought the book and suggested it be read on sabbatical. Everything the name Consilient now carries descends from that — and she is also the source of everything Hare knows about his grandfather. She taught him more than anyone.
