What you can do is to flesh out the biographies of every person I mention, because most people won't know these companies, but each relationship is a binding point for growing the network, and in fact, many connections I have not yet written up. For example, most networking hardware companies seemed to be acquired by Cisco, sooner or later. Michael Spence introduced me to John Morgridge when I was at Consilient, and I met with him at their HQ probably five times. He introduced me to John Chambers - I eventually met dozens of their executives. My favorite was Ed Kozel, who was their CTO multiple times - we used to hang out at the Santa Fe Institute, and also in SF and the Bay Area. (I forgot about Ed Kozel!) I pitched Padma Warrior when I was at Resilient Network Systems, and that led to us getting our first commercial customer relationship - focused on supply chain resiliency. I have literally thousands.
Every story, every connection, every graph is a binding point - a tag, using the nomenclature of Quantum Adaptive Systems theory, that allows anybody to feel connected, forward along to somebody they know, to follow up with me. If we do this right, then the Consilient.Network graph will grow organically, and people will reach out to me, and I just wait. That's why it's self-organizing, self-funding, and self-building.
